Choir – Vocal Zones, if you enjoy singing, join in

Vocal Zones Choir

Vocal Zones Choir, formed in October 2018, welcomes new members.  If you, like them, enjoy singing then perhaps you should join them.  To be a member, enthusiasm is a much greater qualification than reading music or previous experience.  There are no auditions, just attend a free taster and, if you enjoy yourself, attend future sessions for a weekly charge of £5.

The choir sings a range of music accompanied by either keyboard or piano, and are led by Emma Bishton their musical director.  Each session starts with a  warm-up followed by around an hour singing, a refreshment break and song requests.  Sessions take place at Heathlands every Tuesday between 7 pm – 8:30 pm in term-time followed by a post-practice wind-down in the Queen’s Head.

Vocal Zones Concerts & Events

As well as its weekly sessions, the Choir attends numerous events, some of the most recent being:

  • ‘An Afternoon at the Musicals’ at St Mary’s Church Hall, and
  • The Village Fete (pictured right),
  • A Christmas Concert in St Mary’s Church.

These were all well attended and the choir are looking forward to their next event.

The choir has its own website and Facebook Page.  Alternatively, you can contact the Choir Secretary, Linda Truluck on 07545 572157, 01206 241188 or email [antibot mailto=”[email protected]”].
